About VHLSS 2010

The dataset contains information on various aspects of household living standards in Vietnam, such as income, expenditure, consumption, education, health, housing, employment, social security and poverty.

• The dataset was collected by the Vietnam General Statistics Office (GSO) through face-to-face interviews with 69,360 households in 3,133 communes/wards across the country from 2010 to 2011.
• The dataset is representative at national, regional, urban, rural and provincial levels and can be used for various analytical purposes and policy implications.
